Pros and cons of FINAL FANTASY DIMENSIONS app for iPhone and iPad

FINAL FANTASY DIMENSIONS app good for

I have a save on my ipod (80 hours) i want to continue on my iphone like in FFV game
This game could be part of the mainline series, its a real deal final fantasy the only thing is the writing and plot is weak. Great music and nostalgia, long game. This truly is a real Final Fantasy. It was never popular and no one talks about it because it cost 30 or 40 bucks when it released and on mobile that is, as we all know now, a death sentence. If you liked Final Fantasy 4,5,6 you will love this
For a mobile game, this game has lots of content. The story is good, nothing amazing but it gets the job done. The game tries to go back to the style of Final Fantasy III and V where you have a large job system and you can customize your party, so if you like the class system, play this now.
Started by playing the free part of the game. When finished I decided to bite the bullet and pay the full price for all chapters. I must say, I dont have a single ounce of regret. Im in chapter 3 and have already racked up 30+ hours of gameplay. The variety of jobs keeps gameplay interesting and provides a massive amount of possibilities for different strategical parties. Furthermore, I havent encountered any bugs in the gameplay, this game is designed extremely well.
When all of the warriors of dark and light get on the airship after the great elder tells them to go to Avalon, when youre playing as someone who isnt the green haired guy and you talk to him the sword says, "ready nacht?" Even if you name him something else.
If you have been playing FF since classic on NES, then buy this game immediately. Old school simplicity that is perfect for mobile, polished 20th anniversary-style art, the awesome job system from FFV, active battle system, up to 5 characters in the party and 2 parties to play with, a worthy story that engages as early as chapter 1, and classic references to past characters in the series. An instant classic that deserves its name!

Some bad moments

Another game that I actually like that after an hour or 2 you have to pay money to even continue. Why not make special crystals like every game that cost money so you can get equipment or stuff like that instead of for one episode of gameplay which no other free game has ever pulled... All Im saying I love final fantasy and am deleting this waste of my time.
The description says so, but the issue I have is the price. Not worth it (in my opinion) the controls are super sensitive, the story is bland and the battle system needs tweaking. A huge fan of the series. This wasnt horrible, but far from great.
Having played many of the games in the franchise I was really disappointed in this installment. From the random battle encounters every 2 steps to the mediocre storyline and awkward controls I deleted it (and my hours played) short of the end of the second chapter. Really wish that I didnt waste the full $15 and just payed per chapter.
Ive gone on a little Final Fantasy kick recently so downloaded all the free FF games today. Most of them are... Okay. Theyre almost all the same thing in different wrapping to be honest and none feel like final fantasy except for maybe Brave Exvius and even that has the sin of an energy system currency you need to buy with real money to get better things, just sit there and tap or swipe the screen in an endless battle, etc. it at least has a story and exploration option unlike most... But I digress... I ran across this and was blown away at first. It was pure old school original final fantasy. Menu system, sounds, graphics and all. And I was loving it, but only played for about a minute when I realized it had to be to good to be true. Then I checked the description and it sure enough is. $15 to get the whole thing... Outrageous! For a spine off mobile app of a game series, that is way too much no matter the quality. Its a nice game to be sure but it shouldnt cost so much. I can download free, fan made alternatives or even play a flash game of equal quality for free.
Controller support. ❌ Native keyboard support❌ Resolution support for larger iPhones. ❌ Apple TV support. ❌ Square enix charges for a game that gets no updates. Technology is changing. Please keep up with it. Youve been known to keep up with the pace but know he company is falling behind on all their FINAL FANTASY games. They might be spreading themselves to thin.
I was having a good time with this, honestly. Had some reminiscences of the monsters from final fantasy four, storyline, and had good character flow. The problem I have with this was I finished it within thirty minutes. There is also a job class system that I didnt even get to try out. I mainly just auto battled all the ransoms. I had two "boss" battles that consisted of me casting their weakness 3 times to win. This shouldve been called a demo if you could even call it that, because you dont even get to demo the complete combat system of jobs or abilities. And of course the additional "chapters" are overpriced. If you wanna dump some cash then by all means jump all over it. Id rather go back and just play the originals I love than supporting squares greed. I think their CEO has a big enough yacht
